I’m back at work after another great weekend at Consonance.
I helped with sound support for the convention, which gave me the best seat in the house to enjoy some fabulous music.
Summer Loraine Russell started the weekend off with a lovely set Friday night. She has a beautiful, clear voice and some wonderful songs.
Saturday afternoon, Heather Dale and Ben Deschamps created an hour of magic. They are each supremely talented musicians , and together created an alchemy that takes you to another world. Heather gives off a positive energy that makes everyone feel welcome.
Saturday night, the @Blibbering Humdingers rocked the con with a set of hilarious geeky songs. They’re all great singers and players, and they perform with a hugely infectious energy. I’m glad to have finally got meet them. As it happens, they’re also nice people.
Sunday afternoon, Margaret Davis and Kristoph Klover played an entrancing set. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve seen them, but they never fail to impress me with their impeccable musicianship and warmth.
